HEAD CHEF, CHARLEE’S
Meet Charlie John Villapando, Chef, Owner, Entrepreneur, Community Builder, among other things. In 2002, spurred on by his cousin's encouragement, Charlie decided to follow his culinary dreams by enrolling at Red River College’s Culinary program. Chef Charlie’s culinary journey started at various hotels and restaurants. In 2006, he took the leap of faith to make his mark by opening his very own Charlee’s Restaurant and Lounge.
Charlee’s is a charming and hustling hotspot located in the heart of Elmwood neighbourhood serving up hearty, classic favourites, international dishes, provides catering and banquet services, two food trucks and so much more. Charlee's has blossomed into a community gem and a vibrant hub and incubator for upcoming artists and local performances. Charlee’s...for you.
